A single thought pierces deeply into my soul. My trees embody the very essence of life visible only to those who dare to imagine them. Created in oil and gesso, this piece is an offering of presence, memory, and feeling.
Those who find their own reflections within it are the ones meant to live with it. In the midst of chaos, their inner voice meets mine, and the unspoken noise they carry is finally heard.
I have lost count of how many times my thoughts have led me back to painting trees. They surround me in the forest of my memories, where reality and dreams quietly intertwine. It is there only there that I am able to give this work its form.
